Svend Skipper's Papa chair is similar to Hans Wegner's Papa Bear chair and was designed and manufactured around the same time. The difference is that Svend Skipper's chair has a little more sculptural feel to it. The ottoman is not original - it was purchased later but goes well with the chair and is covered in the matching upholstery. The upholstery is Knoll - a very comfortable chair and at half the price of Hans Wegner.
